Students need to share and discuss the information with their partner using a Google Docs, which will document your participation in the exercise. What are the established “facts” that appear in most sources? How credible are the sources? How helpful and engaging was each source? Create a works cited page that you will use at the end of your movie as well.
3. What are various points of view are found in primary sources? Each person should select two excerpts from the sources. Explain in you own words what point of view of each holds.
4. Based on the facts and opinions, discuss with your partner at least two different responses to the driving question. Discuss which response seems most justified.
5. Create a story board for the video. Then work in i-movie to create the product.
In your Google Document, create a section titled Story Board and under this section outline the parts of your movie.
Product & Assessment
Create a (minimum) 5 minute i-movie that presents through pictures, video, mock interviews, re-enactments of the facts, opinions, and various responses to the driving question. Conclude with whether you and your partner support one side more than another. The movie should include work from each partner and be edited to create a professional product. See Rubric:

If you plan to download a movie from YouTube, you can use Zamzar.com. Step 1 – paste the URL address, Step 2 – select “mov”, Step 3 – enter your email address, Step 4 – click on Convert. Once it is converted you will receive an email address and you will have 24 hours to download the movie. Once downloaded, in iMovie click on File menu > Import and import the movie.
You could create a Google account and then use Google Docs to collaborate and share ideas for the project. Steps on creating a Google Docs is on the Technology Information page.
